Israel’s Supreme Court. Jerusalem, Israel (1993)

Israel’s Supreme Court is considered one of the most spectacular and luxurious award winning stone buildings in the country, perhaps in the world. The arches and other remarkable stone details characterize this work of art, being a reminder that this important building is located in the holy city of Jerusalem. Ada and Ram Carmi, the designing architects chose to apply traditional Jerusalem stone details and finishes, linking the structure to its history. This building incorporated over 30,000 sf of stone, including Ramon Cream in various chiseled finishes for the cladding, Ramon Grey fine chiseled for the paving, and an exceptional wall in Jerusalem Gold Natural Cleft, which goes across the entire interior of the building.
